A thank you note from a patient...

"Thank you for your wise counsel and problem-solving last Thursday afternoon. My appointment at the breast center Friday went well, and no biopsy was necessary. (Yipee!). More importantly, though, I drove myself there, gave myself choices, looked around the rooms to have a more literal than emotional memory of them, and could have gone through with the biopsy if it had been needed. I was calmer than usual, and tolerated everything well. You made a difference in my life, and that difference is greater than getting the cancer/no cancer questions answered. Thank you."
